Understanding Light, Hydrogen & Restoration
Wellness technologies can sound complicated. They don’t have to be. Explore the ideas behind the therapies we use, how they differ, and why we thoughtfully bring them together.
LIGHT BENEATH THE SURFACE
RED + NEAR-INFRARED
What Is Red Light Therapy?
Red light therapy uses specific wavelengths of visible red and near-infrared light. Unlike ultraviolet light, these wavelengths are not used to tan or intentionally damage the skin.
Red and near-infrared light are being studied for the ways they interact with cells and tissues, including potential roles in cellular energy, circulation, recovery, skin health, and inflammatory processes.
More Than One Layer
Explore the individual ideas behind the experience, then see how they come together.
Red + Near-Infrared Light
Learn about wavelengths, photobiomodulation, and why red and near-infrared light are used differently.
Molecular Hydrogen
Explore what molecular hydrogen is, how it is being studied, and why we incorporate it into the experience.
Sound + Rest
Learn why we intentionally pair technology with a quieter sensory environment rather than another task to complete.
We’re Interested in the Whole Experience
We don’t believe wellness has to become a collection of gadgets.
At Charlotte Acu Bodywork, we have spent years exploring ways that traditional approaches and modern wellness technologies can complement one another. Red Light Therapy CLT grew from that same curiosity.
Here, you’ll find information about the individual technologies we use—but also why we choose to combine them the way we do.
Curious? So Are We.
Research into photobiomodulation, molecular hydrogen, and related wellness technologies continues to evolve. Our goal is to help you understand what researchers are exploring while being clear about what is known, what is still being studied, and what should not be interpreted as a promise of results.
Experience It for Yourself
You don’t need to understand every wavelength or biological pathway before your first visit. Come experience the environment we’ve created and see how it feels for you.
